Roy Russell is a CFP® or “Christian” Financial Planner with over 44 years of experience.  The CFP® designation also stands for being a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ which took nearly 900 hours of study and extensive examinations. He has developed and taught 3 day Stewardship Seminars in churches both nationally and globally.

Roy uses a charitable tool called a Donor Advised Fund for believers who desire to make a difference and leave a legacy of significance.

He has earned the CAP (Certified Advisor in Philanthropy) designation and the RICP® (Retirement Income Certified Professional) designation from American College in Bryn Mawr, PA. Roy has also achieved the Certified Estate & Trust Specialist designation and earned the CKA® designation from Kingdom Advisors.  He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and an Investment Advisor Representative for Geneos Wealth Management, Inc., Roy and his team of Christian Advisors are responsible for overseeing in excess of 350 million dollars of invested assets for clients around the country.

In addition, Roy is a graduate of the Planned Giving Institute through the College of William and Mary in Virginia. He attended Pillsbury Baptist Bible College in Owatonna Minnesota during the 70’s where he met his wife, Lana.

He has been married for over forty years and has four grown children and thirteen grandchildren. Roy’s many hobbies include sailing on tall ships, travel, water skiing, boating, biking, hiking and woodworking in his shop at home. He and his wife Lana attend High Point Baptist Chapel in Geigertown, PA.
