Rose Bitler

Rose is the Office Manager for the Reading Office of Beacon Tax. She brings years of administrative and managerial experience from various work and volunteer activities. Rose earned a Bachelor’s degree from Messiah College in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. It is there she met her best friend and husband Dave. After college, she worked for the Department of Justice as a Fingerprint Examiner, Secretary and Analyst.

Rose was fortunate to be a Stay-at-Home Mom for several years as she and Dave began growing their family.  During those years, she volunteered in the church nursery and was hired as the Nursery Coordinator. It was also during these years that Dave felt called to full-time ministry. Following God’s leading, Dave left his job and they moved their family half-way across the country for seminary.

After many years of living outside of Pennsylvania, Rose and Dave moved back to Berks County in 2020 when Dave was called as Pastor of St. John Hill Church, Boyertown. Rose serves as the Sunday School Superintendent and in the choir. They have four children. Their oldest, a son, is now in college and their three daughters are still at home.

Rose enjoys hiking, crafting, reading, singing, and most recently, learning country line dancing. She also enjoys opening their home for hospitality opportunities and being a Tattoo StoryHunter, which is a ministry of Evangelism Today.
