Barbara Baines

I am a wife of 33+ years and mother to four adult daughters and a step-son. The oldest two (Rachel & Rebekah) are married and have blessed me with sons-in-law and my Hadley – a cheerful, silly grandbaby (which I am looking forward to more of in the future!) Our third daughter, Jessica, is an elementary school teacher. The youngest, Jennifer, is attending University of Valley Forge. Life in our house is happily chaotic with never a dull moment.

Having been a stay-at-home mom for 30 years and home-schooling teacher for 24 years, then graduating my last “student” in 2023 I knew I wanted to go back to work to fill in the time. I was not sure what that would look like, but the Lord did! He had plans and knew just how to bless me while using my talents for other’s good. I have been our family’s organizer, jack-of-some-trades, cheerleader and support. But how do I use that in a job?

Coming to work with The Life Group in May of 2025 has been a wonderful new chapter in my life’s book! I found another “family” to be part of, one where I can use the support skills I had come to perfect. I find fulfillment working with this team and the clients I interact with every day. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

When I am not at the office, I am gardening, hiking, preserving food, or visiting someone in my family (that is spread out from Michigan to Florida, Connecticut to Arizona.)
