What Is The Church To Do?
Pastors, make sure your own financial house in order and then encourage others to do the same. Help the people to begin thinking and acting biblically and not like the world around them. This way people will notice a difference and ask them for “a reason of the hope that is within them.” Begin looking below the surface when speaking with believers. Are they managing their money, time and family wisely? Are they slaves to the credit card? Encourage transparency and offer accountability where needed. Take an active role to teaching biblical stewardship. Pre-marital counseling should always include intensive financial counseling. A specialist can often bring in a new and different perspective. Just like an evangelist, he can use the Sword of the Spirit to challenge and motivate people to action. In a similar way that medical doctors keep us healthy, a good financial (doctor) advisor can teach and rebuke where necessary. Who is The LIFE Group?

We have been working with believers since 1978. Roy L. Russell, our president, continues to minister to conservative bible preaching churches across the country. He has been responsible for directing millions of dollars into the Lord’s work. Local church giving (or tithing) also increases as a result of his ministry. Roy also uses the skills of local Christian attorneys and other financial professionals qualified in their field. High Point Baptist Academy Educational Endowment Fund - will increase the salaries of faculty members and decrease the cost of tuition so that more students can be taught.
