Staffing Update

Allow us to introduce our new Marketing Manager, Adam F. Dieffenbach. With a diverse educational and professional background, Adam brings a wide variety of skills and abilities to The Life Financial Group, where his duties include updating and maintaining the website, overseeing our monthly and quarterly newsletters, Stewardship Seminar promotion, and organizing client and staff events, to name a few. Adam holds degrees from Philadelphia Biblical University (B.S. Biblical Studies, 2006; B.Mus. Composition, 2006) and Temple University (M.Mus. Composition, 2009), and is currently at work on his PhD dissertation as an external student in the Historical Musicology program at The Queen’s University, Belfast.

Born and raised in Lebanon, PA, into a musical family, Adam’s primary instrument is the organ, and he also plays the piano and trumpet (although not at the same time). The Dieffenbach family has a long history of involvement with pipe organs, and were active in pipe organ building in Berks County for four generations, from about 1780 to 1900. Two of their instruments are on held by museums – an 1800 Johann Jacob Dieffenbach organ at the Berks County Historical Society, and an 1808 Christian Dieffenbach organ at The National Music Museum of the University of South Dakota, and several are still in continuous use in churches throughout Berks County.

In addition to his work at The Life Financial Group, Adam is currently serving as Director of Music at Zwingli United Church of Christ in Souderton, Pa, and is an active recitalist, performing organ concerts throughout the greater Philadelphia area. Adam and his wife Jennifer, also a PhD candidate at Queen’s University, are members at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Harleysville, PA, and enjoy cooking together, reading, and walks on the Perkiomen Trail.
